ACDC APAC 2026 was held on 10-13 July 2026. The conference drew around 400 on-site delegates, saw eight plenary keynote speeches delivered – complemented by 11 dedicated technical tracks – and 200+ peer-reviewed academic papers disseminated through oral presentations and poster showcases.
Historically held mostly in Europe, the ACDC conference was first introduced to China in 2016 by the IET in partnership with Tsinghua University. Since then, it has been successfully held in cities like Beijing and Chengdu. The conference now alternates between China and Europe.
The conference focuses on innovations and developments in AC and DC power transmission technology. ACDC APAC typically attracts hundreds of on-site delegates and tens of thousands of online viewers via live streams, reflecting its significant influence in the power transmission community.
